Formulas (what each KPI means)
- Abandoned customers = Applications × (Abandonment%): users who drop off during onboarding.
- Lost revenue = Abandoned × CLV: potential value lost because onboarding wasn’t completed.
- Recovered customers = Abandoned × (Recovery%): customers IDVIA brings back.
- Incremental revenue = Recovered × CLV: revenue created by recovered customers.
- Total cost = (Recovered × Cost per recovered) + Fixed cost: total spend to run IDVIA.
- Net gain = Incremental revenue − Total cost: profit after costs.
- Revenue/Cost multiple = Incremental revenue ÷ Total cost: revenue per $1 spent.
- ROI = (Net gain ÷ Total cost): return as a %.
- Profit per recovered = CLV − Cost per recovered: unit economics per customer.
- Breakeven recovered = Total cost ÷ CLV: min recovered customers to cover costs.
- Breakeven revenue required = Total cost: revenue threshold to break even.
